All the bioenergy schemes, ethanol, bio-diesel, wood pellets, biomass burning, represent the death-throes of the dying body of Capitalism. Perhaps 60 years ago, they might have had a purpose while winding down fossil use and excess transportation, but at this point in time, they just add more carbon to the atmosphere, by performing atmospheric disposal of natural areas. It is further theft of Nature to prop up humanity's excesses, and Theft is a defining characteristic of human behaviour.
It is time to join efforts, minds and finance to stop the burning of our tress and forest to produce energy. This is the most pervasive acuity that destroy our Mother Nature and trample our rights to a healthy environment.
I subscribed and I support not burning aka incinerating biomass. If it's got a smokestack aka chimneys its out of contention.
However there is another process ~ ZERO EMISSIONS FastOx Gasification of ALL WASTE currently going to landfill, including much biomass here in NZ, to make Biodiestil* or generate Electricity ~ which could be encouraged, supported and/or instigated very LOCALLY in Waste Catchment Areas, to 'Fuel the TraNZsition' out of Fossil-Oilcohol Addiction, create LOCAL employment, repopulate even remote rural areas aka Naturalize Human Settlement even in Cities ~ 'Once We're All Villagers' ~ P. Heke & me ~ (including in our Suburbs, Neighbourhoods, City Blocks and even 'Buildings') ~ and (what I call) 'Harvestore' the Bio-Ethicsphere ~ Restore *much* of the Natural Environment to it's Pre-Colonial Ecology ~ (to a great agreed degree) ~ by replacing Monocultural Introduced Plantation Forest with Indigenous Ngahere AND, PLUS, as 'WELL', molecularly destruct ALL the PLASTICS ~ which is getting to be a BiG *Nano* issue ~ EVERY*Thing currently going to Landfill aka Methane Generators ~ 86 times worse than CO2!
~ after Gasification the PLASTICS are *GONE*!!! Gone for GOOD*. As opposed to 'Fly Ash' aka forever pollution, Gasification produces a 10% by product of 'Inert Stone'.
Radically reduce Imported Carbon Emissions by not importing fuel into the Area, and eventually the Nation, ie diesel, AND save massive Emissions by transporting raw materials ~ ALL WASTE ~ then the product ~ Diesel or Power ~ and precious Human Labour the least possible distance??? LOCALLY. AND, maybe by greatly reducing or even justifiably stopping Importing Carbon Emissions by importing overseas-made vehicles??? Doesn't matter what motor they have, it's still *The Motor Way*???
Instead,, by this very process, TraNZsitional Energy ~ a Core Aspect of "FiX it and pass in on as we found it, or better" ~ will encourage a healthier LOCAL Auto-Engineering, Terrestrial Vehicle Research & Development and LOCAL Car-Manufacturing Industries? Sure, it's a bit Cuban, but Mass-Produced & LOCAL Bespoke Coach-Built micro-ICE-powered vehicles ~ the 4WD Tuk Truk, Stretched-Limo Rich*Shaw, our Kiwi 'Trekka' Mk 21C ???

It is difficult to not conclude the elite see the disposal of most humanity as the solution to the climate crisis and overshoot. They'll point to some solar and wind projects and tell us fossil fuels are necessary to transition. In the meantime climate driven catastrophes will mount as well as accompanying migration, growing refugee camps, and deaths through disease and starvation. The people who attend these COP industry swap meets aren't stupid, they are evil. Everything points to a grand conspiracy or at the least synergy to plummet the global population and hoard the remaining resources for the elite. The disaster called Trump will speed all of this along nicely.
After three and one half years of studying these crises, the election of the Orange One and the progenitors of Project 2025 has left me without hope. I dread what's coming and the stunning rapidity with which it will destroy lives.
