And what if all this massive capital flow was directed toward renewable energy? Considerations of "permanence" in any forest is simply wishful thinking. Now, I'm looking at isoprene emissions from established forest biomes in promoting cloud formation, and you don't get this feature from afforestation or tree plantations.
